Phi Phi Island and Bamboo Island

Phi Phi Island, located in the Andaman Sea, is one of Thailand’s most iconic and breathtaking destinations. Known for its stunning turquoise waters, towering limestone cliffs, and vibrant marine life, Phi Phi Island offers a tropical paradise that draws travelers from around the globe.

Phi Phi Leh, famous for Maya Bay, made internationally known by the film The Beach, is a protected national park with crystal-clear waters and pristine beaches. Visitors are captivated by the island’s untouched natural beauty, with its hidden lagoons, coral reefs, and rich biodiversity.

Bamboo Island, or Koh Mai Phai as it's locally known, is a small gem in the Andaman Sea, located just a short boat ride from the famous Phi Phi Islands. This picturesque island is a tropical paradise known for its powdery white sand, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and peaceful atmosphere.

Unlike the more bustling islands nearby, Bamboo Island offers a tranquil retreat, perfect for those looking to escape the crowds. The island is encircled by a coral reef teeming with vibrant marine life, making it an excellent spot for snorkeling and swimming. The shallow waters allow for easy exploration of the underwater world, where you can spot colorful fish and even occasional sea turtles.

This package offers you the chance to experience both beautiful islands in a single day, providing exceptional value for both your money and time. It’s the perfect way to make the most of your day, ensuring you get a full and rewarding island adventure.

The "Beauty of the Sea" on Bamboo Island is far beyond ordinary. It's a perfect combination of crystal-clear waters, a stunning blue sky, untouched island nature, vibrant coral reefs, and colorful fish. The beachfront is nothing short of spectacular, and one of the main reasons why this trip is a must is the island’s pristine white sand beach. The sand here is whiter, softer, and finer than you can imagine, stretching wide and long around the island. The crystal-clear water gently laps against the shore, creating perfect waves for beach play. The words "truly beautiful" simply don’t do justice to the breathtaking beauty of this island’s beach.

Guaranteed gorgeous.

A guarantee is a commitment, and if you’re not confident, you shouldn’t offer one. But when it comes to Bamboo Island, Jc.Tour confidently guarantees that you won’t be disappointed. The island is shaded by a natural pine forest, with a wide sandy beach that stretches all the way to the forest’s edge, offering plenty of secluded spots to claim as your own personal base station. Here, you can store your bags and belongings while you swim, snorkel, or stroll along the shore. When you’re tired, return to your base to relax, lounge in the sea breeze, soak in the sun, and breathe in the fresh ocean air. This is what the true meaning of "the sea" is all about.

Snorkeling: Marine Life

Going to the beach and the sea is not enough if all you're looking for is just sand and water. To truly call it "complete," you need something more—like a coral reef teeming with marine life. The western coast of Bamboo Island stretches for kilometers, featuring one of the most diverse coral reefs, brimming with vibrant underwater creatures. Here, you'll encounter schools of colorful fish, clownfish, moray eels, parrotfish, triggerfish, giant clams, and more. It’s one of the most pristine marine ecosystems in the Andaman Sea, yet few people know about this hidden treasure.

This is the iconic filming location of The Beach, even more significant than Maya Bay. It’s the scene where Leonardo DiCaprio floats effortlessly in the glowing bioluminescent plankton. The dense seawater allows you to float easily without the need for a life jacket, ensuring a free and comfortable experience. The calm, clear waters are protected by surrounding cliffs, blocking the ocean waves and turning the bay into a natural pool. The water is so crystal-clear that you can see fish and the seabed with the naked eye, making snorkeling gear unnecessary as you enjoy this stunning bay.

Monkeys Beach and Loh Samah Bay

Loh Samah Bay is a small, secluded bay framed by cliffs, offering calm waters perfect for snorkeling among vibrant coral reefs and colorful fish. It’s a haven for marine life, especially during spawning season.

Monkey Beach, where the jungle meets the sea, boasts crystal-clear waters and soft white sand. Wild monkeys often swim and approach visitors for food, but due to their unpredictable nature, it’s best to admire them from a distance. The beach also features coral reefs, perfect for snorkeling.

Viking Cave - Cave on the sea

Phi Phi Island and Bamboo Island Phi Phi Island and Bamboo Island Phi Phi Island and Bamboo Island

An old story passed down through generations (and yet to be disputed) says that this cave was once a hideout for Viking pirates, safely distant from the reach of authorities. Today, however, it has transformed into a bird’s nest concession site. Visitors can admire the cave’s beauty from the front, take stunning photos, and enjoy snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters on calm, wave-free days.

Phi Phi Don Island.

The small town on Phi Phi Don Island is filled with local islanders selling handmade goods to visiting tourists. Strolling through the town is a delightful experience, and on this trip, you'll have the chance to explore this charming village. Nestled between two beautiful beaches, it offers a unique glimpse into the lifestyle and emotions of the island’s residents.

Maya Bay (The Beach Filming)

Maya Bay is an absolute must-see on any Phi Phi Island tour. Its breathtaking beauty is renowned worldwide, and there’s truly no place like it. This iconic location was chosen by the top location scouts of 20th Century Fox for the filming of The Beach.

Today, the bay is also known as "The Beach Bay," following the release of the movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio in late 2000, which cemented its status as a world-famous destination. Of course, you’ll get to visit this stunning location, as it’s already included in your tour package.
