Koh Kood Marine Collection is a private 4-day, 3-night journey from Trat Airport combining snorkeling and island hopping across the eastern Trat sea. The sea around Koh Kood offers more than one kind of experience. Koh Kood & Eastern Islands Marine Collection was designed as a 4-day journey with two very different days at sea. One takes you by Private Boat toward the Koh Rang archipelago, where clear water, coral areas and tropical fish become the focus. The other heads toward Koh Kham, Koh Kradat, Koh Kai Hua Roh and Koh Mak, changing the experience from snorkeling to white-sand beaches, small islands, wildlife and the quieter atmosphere of island life.

We deliberately keep these two marine days different. Around Koh Rang, the Captain and Heritage Guide work with the sea conditions to find suitable water for snorkeling and swimming. On the Eastern Islands route, there is more time to go ashore, walk the beaches, see the deer of Koh Kradat and experience Koh Mak. Two days on the same eastern sea, but two completely different reasons to be there.

Throughout the 4 Days 3 Nights, you stay at Hideout Koh Kood, with the complete journey privately arranged from Trat Airport, including transfers, ferry connections, Heritage Guide, local transportation and two Private Boat journeys. Klong Hin Beach

A Quiet Beginning by the Sea

Khlong Hin Beach is a small, peaceful beach on the southern side of Koh Kood, where a gently curved bay sits between tropical greenery and a largely natural coastline. On calm days, the water in front of the beach can be clear and inviting for a swim. The beach itself is easy to enjoy: walk along the sand, step into the water or find a quiet place to sit and look out across the bay.

We choose Khlong Hin Beach as the first beach of the Koh Kood & Eastern Islands Marine Collection for a reason. Before heading farther out to small islands, coral areas and open water over the next two days, we begin simply at the Koh Kood coastline. There is time to walk, swim and settle in after the journey from Trat. Khlong Hin does not need a full day; it only needs enough time for the airport, road and ferry to feel behind you, and for your holiday on Koh Kood to begin.

Koh Raet

A Small Island with More Beneath the Water

Koh Raet is a small island close to the coast of Koh Kood, surrounded by rocky shoreline, a small beach and generally sheltered water. Much of its interest lies beneath the surface, where coral formations and reef fish can be found around the island. When visibility and sea conditions are good, it offers a rewarding place for easy snorkeling without requiring a long boat journey from Koh Kood.

We choose Koh Raet for the morning of Day 2 because its location allows us to spend useful time swimming and snorkeling rather than travelling for hours by boat. After the morning at sea, we return to Koh Kood for lunch before continuing to Ao Tapao Beach in the afternoon. It gives the day two distinct settings: a small island and underwater exploration in the morning, followed by a long, relaxed beach on Koh Kood later in the day.

Koh Kham

White Sand & Black Rocks in the Trat Sea

Koh Kham is a small island close to Koh Mak, but its coastline has a character of its own. Pale white sand meets clear blue-green water, while large dark rocks are scattered along the beach, creating a natural contrast that makes the island recognizable even as the boat approaches the shore.

Koh Kham is best enjoyed simply. Walk along the sand, swim when the sea is calm, take photographs or find a quiet place to look across the water. Travelling by Private Boat allows us to adjust the timing according to the tide and sea conditions that day, giving this small island enough time to become one of the most memorable beach stops of the Eastern Islands Journey.

Ao Tapao Beach

A Quiet Afternoon on Koh Kood

Ao Tapao Beach is one of Koh Kood's longer and quieter stretches of coastline, where pale sand slopes gently into clear water and coconut palms remain close behind the beach. It is an easy place to enjoy without a planned activity: walk barefoot along the shoreline, swim when the sea is calm, or simply find some shade and spend time looking out across the water.

We keep Ao Tapao for the afternoon, after the morning boat journey and snorkeling around Koh Raet. By then, there is no need for another marine activity. The beach gives you time to slow down on shore, swim if you wish and stay into the softer late-afternoon light along Koh Kood's western coast. After a morning spent looking beneath the sea, Ao Tapao is where the day becomes simple again: a long beach, an open afternoon and nowhere else we need to rush to.

A Day Made for the Sea

Koh Rang is where the marine side of the journey becomes much more active. Once the Private Speedboat leaves Koh Kood behind, the scenery opens into blue water, small green islands and sheltered bays. Throughout the day, we move naturally between Snorkeling • Island Hopping • Swimming • Beach Time, so there is always a good balance between being in the water and taking a comfortable break on shore.

The best part begins when you put on your mask and look beneath the surface. Coral formations, schools of tropical fish and smaller marine life can change from one snorkeling area to another, while visibility depends on currents, season and sea conditions. For that reason, the Captain and Heritage Guide do not simply follow the same sequence of stops every day. When we find clear water and good snorkeling, we stay and enjoy it. When it is time for a break, we head for the beach. That flexibility is what makes Koh Rang one of the most enjoyable marine days of the collection.

Koh Khai Hua Roa

A Tiny Island with a Big Story

Koh Kai Hua Roh is one of the smallest and most unusual islands in the Trat sea. With little more than a cluster of rocks and a few trees rising from the water, its appearance reminds many Thai travelers of the tiny deserted island often seen in the famous Kai Hua Roh comic. There is no long beach and no list of activities here. The fun is simply seeing how closely this little piece of nature resembles an island from a cartoon.

During the Koh Kood & Eastern Islands Marine Collection, we keep Koh Kai Hua Roh as a short and enjoyable stop. The boat approaches as close as the tide and sea conditions safely allow, giving you time to see the island and take photographs before continuing the journey. It may be one of the shortest stops of the day, but it is usually one of the easiest to remember.

Koh Mak

A Living Island in the Middle of the Journey

As the boat approaches Koh Mak, the scenery begins to change from small islands and open water to an island where people actually live. Beaches meet coconut groves, small roads connect different parts of the island, and homes are scattered among the greenery. There may not be one particular landmark that defines Koh Mak, but that is part of its appeal. Step away from the boat for a while and you begin to see another side of the Trat islands, one shaped by beaches, local life and the everyday rhythm of a small island community.

During the Koh Kood & Eastern Islands Marine Collection, Koh Mak is an important midday break. We come ashore for lunch, then leave enough time for a beach walk, a cold drink or simply some rest before returning to the boat. There is no reason to rush through lunch to reach the next island. Koh Mak gives us time on land before continuing toward Koh Kradat and Koh Kai Hua Roh, keeping a multi-island day comfortable rather than turning it into a sequence of quick stops.

Koh Kradat

An Island Where Deer Roam

Koh Kradat looks different from many of the islands in the Trat sea. Instead of steep hills and dense forest, much of the island is relatively flat, with coconut groves and open green areas extending toward the coastline. What makes it particularly unusual is the deer that roam the island. Depending on the time of day, they may be resting beneath the trees, moving through the coconut groves or occasionally appearing closer to the beach.

We take our time here rather than trying to approach the deer too closely. Walk quietly, keep a respectful distance and allow the animals to continue naturally through their surroundings. There is never a guarantee of where they will appear, and that is part of the experience. Koh Kradat adds something completely different to our island journey: deer, coconut groves, beach and sea within the same landscape, giving this marine day a character that goes well beyond swimming and snorkeling.

A Pool Villa to Come Back To

Hideout Koh Kood is your home for all three nights of the Marine Collection, with a Pool Villa that provides privacy, comfort and useful space to relax after a day at sea. Return from the boat and you can cool down in your private pool, rest in the villa or spend more time by the sea without having to leave the resort again. From the villas and gardens to the swimming pool and beachfront areas, the surroundings are well maintained and thoughtfully designed, making the return to Hideout an enjoyable part of each day.

The resort also brings together a private beach, seaside atmosphere and on-site restaurant, so the evening can remain easy after island hopping or snorkeling. There are attractive places to relax and take photographs around the beach, pool, gardens and common areas, but the practical reason we selected Hideout is equally important. After several hours on the water, we want you to come back to a clean and comfortable Pool Villa, good food and a quiet place by the sea, with no need to start another journey just to enjoy the rest of the day.

	Day 1 An Easy Beginning to the Marine Collection   The first day of the Koh Kood & Eastern Islands Marine Collection is deliberately light. There are two very different marine days ahead, from the coral areas around Koh Rang to the smaller islands between Koh Kood and Koh Mak. Today, we simply make the journey to Koh Kood, spend some time on the beach and settle into the resort before heading out to sea tomorrow. 08:00 hrs. Welcome at Trat Airport The JC Tour team and your Heritage Guide welcome you at Trat Airport. Once your luggage is collected, your Private Transfer takes you to Laem Sok Pier. Your guide stays with you and handles the luggage, ferry check-in and connections throughout the journey to Koh Kood. Everything is already coordinated, so the holiday can begin without having to arrange transportation or ferry details yourself. 09:00 hrs. Laem Sok Pier Arrive at Laem Sok Pier and prepare for the crossing to Koh Kood. There is time to rest, use the facilities or have a drink while waiting for the ferry. Your Heritage Guide takes care of the check-in and boarding arrangements. 10:45 hrs. High-Speed Ferry to Koh Kood Board the High-Speed Ferry from Laem Sok to Koh Kood, with your Heritage Guide travelling with you. As the ferry leaves the Trat coastline, the mainland gradually becomes smaller and the eastern sea opens around us. Use the crossing to relax before reaching the island. Ferry times may change according to the operator's schedule, weather and sea conditions on the day of travel. 11:45 hrs. Arrive at Koh Kood On arrival, your Private Vehicle & Selected Local Driver will be waiting at the pier. Koh Kood's roads pass through hills, forest and small communities, so having a local driver who knows the island well makes a practical difference. We also select drivers for their service manner and comfortable driving, particularly important on a program where road and boat connections need to work smoothly over several days. 12:15 hrs. First Lunch on the Island Enjoy your first lunch on Koh Kood in a relaxed setting. We leave enough time for a proper meal and a rest after the morning's journey. There is no need to finish quickly to reach the next attraction. Day 1 is intentionally easier than the marine days that follow. 13:30 hrs. Khlong Hin Beach After lunch, continue south to Khlong Hin Beach, a quieter part of the Koh Kood coastline where greenery, sand and sea remain the main features of the landscape. There is no activity list to complete here. Walk along the beach, swim when conditions are suitable or simply find somewhere quiet and enjoy the coast. We begin the Marine Collection at the shoreline for a reason. Today you see the sea from Koh Kood. Tomorrow, you will be looking back toward the islands from the water. 15:00 hrs. Hideout Koh Kood Check in at Hideout Koh Kood, your home for the next 3 nights. We selected Hideout as the base for the Marine Collection for its seaside setting, privacy and location on the southern side of Koh Kood. After two upcoming days involving Private Boat journeys, having a comfortable place to return to is an important part of the program. Once you have checked in, the rest of the afternoon is yours. Relax in your Pool Villa, spend time around the resort, swim or return to the beach. There is no further sightseeing scheduled today. 17:30 hrs. First Sunset on Koh Kood As the afternoon light begins to soften, spend some time by the sea for your first sunset on the island. After the airport, road transfer and ferry crossing, there is nothing else you need to prepare for this evening. Find a comfortable place by the water and enjoy the end of your first day on Koh Kood. 18:30 hrs. onwards | A Private Evening at Hideout Dinner and the rest of the evening are at your leisure at Hideout Koh Kood. We keep tonight free because tomorrow morning the character of the journey changes completely. Your Private Speedboat, Local Captain & Crew and Heritage Guide will take you toward the Koh Rang archipelago, where the day will be shaped by snorkeling, coral areas, tropical fish and the actual sea conditions we find. For tonight, there is only one plan: enjoy Hideout, rest well and be ready for the sea tomorrow. Day 2 Koh Raet • Easy Snorkeling • Lunch • Ao Tapao Beach After spending the first day along the southern coast of Koh Kood, this morning we head out onto the water for the first time. We do not travel far. Koh Raet lies close to Koh Kood and gives us an easy introduction to the marine side of the journey, with time for snorkeling, swimming and exploring the water around a small island without spending hours on the boat. In the afternoon, we return to Koh Kood for lunch before continuing to Ao Tapao Beach. The pace changes completely: from looking beneath the water through a snorkeling mask in the morning to walking along a long beach and relaxing on shore. Today is intentionally our lighter marine day before the longer island journey tomorrow. 07:30 hrs. Morning at Hideout Koh Kood Enjoy breakfast at Hideout Koh Kood and prepare your swimwear and personal belongings for the morning boat journey. Your Heritage Guide checks the weather and sea conditions with the Captain before departure. Although Koh Raet is close to Koh Kood, the most suitable areas for swimming and snorkeling still depend on the actual wind, current and underwater visibility that morning. 09:00 hrs. Private Boat to Koh Raet Meet your Local Captain & Crew and board your Private Boat for Koh Raet. One advantage of today's route is that there is no need for a very early departure or a long ride across open water. Shortly after leaving the Koh Kood coastline, the small island begins to appear ahead. 09:30 hrs. Koh Raet A Small Island with More Beneath the Water Koh Raet is not a large island and does not require a full day. We come here for three straightforward reasons: the small-island setting, the quiet water and the marine life around it. When visibility and sea conditions are suitable, the Captain and Heritage Guide select an appropriate area for snorkeling. Take your time looking for coral formations and reef fish around the island. There is no required number of snorkeling sessions. Guests who enjoy being in the water can spend longer snorkeling, while others may prefer an easy swim or simply relax aboard the boat. 10:45 hrs. Small Beach & More Time by the Water If tide, sea conditions and access are suitable, we move toward the island's small beach or another sheltered area for a short break. Swim, rest or spend a little more time enjoying the water. We do not need to turn a small island into a large itinerary. We enjoy what Koh Raet does well, give it enough time, and leave when the morning feels complete. 11:30 hrs. Return to Koh Kood Board the Private Boat for the short journey back to Koh Kood. The marine part of today's program finishes here. For the rest of the day, we stay on the island and change the pace from snorkeling to lunch and beach time. 12:00 hrs. Lunch Enjoy lunch in a relaxed setting on Koh Kood. After the morning in the water, there is enough time to eat comfortably, rest and change if necessary before continuing with the afternoon. 13:30 hrs. Ao Tapao Beach A Long, Easy Afternoon on Shore Continue to Ao Tapao Beach, one of Koh Kood's longer and more open stretches of coastline. There is no activity schedule to follow here. Walk barefoot along the beach, swim when conditions are suitable, rest beneath the coconut palms or find somewhere quiet and simply enjoy the view. After going out to find a small island in the morning, we do the opposite this afternoon. The sea is already in front of us, so there is nowhere else we need to go looking for it. 15:45 hrs. Return to Hideout Koh Kood Return to Hideout Koh Kood while there is still plenty of afternoon left. Use the remaining time at your Pool Villa, swim, walk around the resort or rest by the sea. There is a practical reason for coming back early today. Tomorrow is the longest and most varied marine journey of the program, so there is no benefit in extending today's activities simply to make the schedule look fuller. 17:30 hrs. An Easy Evening at Hideout Spend the late afternoon and sunset at the resort. From snorkeling around Koh Raet in the morning to a quiet afternoon at Ao Tapao, today shows a side of Koh Kood that does not require travelling very far. Enjoy the resort and let the day finish at an easy pace. 18:30 hrs onwards | Dinner & Rest Dinner and the rest of the evening are at your leisure. Tomorrow, we travel farther from Koh Kood and the Marine Collection opens into a much larger day at sea: the marine environment around Koh Rang, followed by Koh Kham, Koh Mak, Koh Kradat and Koh Kai Hua Roh. Tonight, there is nothing else to prepare except to rest well for the islands ahead. Day 3 Koh Rang • Koh Khlum • Koh Mak • Koh Kradat • Koh Kai Hua Roh   Today is the main marine day of the journey. We leave Koh Kood by Private Speedboat and connect several islands with very different characters: the underwater world around Koh Rang, the white sand of Koh Kham, the deer and open landscape of Koh Kradat, tiny Koh Kai Hua Roh, and the quieter island life of Koh Mak. This is not a race to complete five islands. Each place has a different purpose in the day. Koh Rang is for snorkeling, Koh Kham for the beach, Koh Mak for lunch and time on land, Koh Kradat for its landscape and deer, and Koh Kai Hua Roh for a short, unusual final stop. The route brings these different experiences together without repeating the same activity at every island. 07:00 hrs. Breakfast at Hideout Koh Kood Today begins slightly earlier than the previous days. Enjoy breakfast and prepare your swimwear and personal belongings for a full day at sea. Before departure, your Heritage Guide and Captain review the weather, wind, current, tide and underwater visibility. The order of today's islands may be adjusted when actual sea conditions make another sequence more suitable. 08:00 hrs. Private Speedboat Departure Meet your Local Captain & Crew and depart Koh Kood by Private Speedboat. Today, the boat is an important part of the route. We travel between Koh Kood, the Koh Rang archipelago and the islands around Koh Mak without returning to Koh Kood between stops. Settle in and enjoy the changing view as we move farther into the eastern sea. 08:45 hrs. Koh Rang Begin Beneath the Surface Arrive in the Koh Rang area, where snorkeling becomes the main focus of the morning. Rather than promising one fixed snorkeling site, the Captain and Heritage Guide select an area according to the water clarity, current, wind and tide that day. Your Heritage Guide helps with snorkeling equipment and safety before entering the water. From there, take your time exploring the coral formations, tropical fish and smaller marine life that conditions allow us to see. 11:15 hrs. Koh Kham From Coral to White Sand Leave Koh Rang and continue toward Koh Kham. After spending the morning looking beneath the surface, Koh Kham changes the pace with clear shallow water, pale sand and distinctive dark rock formations along the coast. Walk along the beach, swim, take photographs or simply rest near the water. There is no need for another organized activity here. After a morning of snorkeling, Koh Kham gives us time to get back onto the sand. 12:15 hrs. Koh Mak A Proper Midday Break Continue to Koh Mak for lunch. We use Koh Mak as the main rest stop because after several hours of boating, swimming and snorkeling, everyone benefits from some proper time on land. Enjoy lunch without rushing back to the boat. Afterward, there is time for a short beach walk, coffee, a cold drink or simply some rest. Koh Mak also gives you a glimpse of an island where people live year-round, with coconut groves, small roads, homes and beaches forming part of the everyday landscape. 13:45 hrs. Koh Kradat Deer on a Flat Island in the Sea From Koh Mak, continue to Koh Kradat. The landscape changes again. Koh Kradat is relatively flat, with open green areas, coconut groves and coastline rather than the steep forested terrain found on many other islands. Its best-known residents are the deer that roam the island. We explore according to the permitted route and local conditions that day, keeping an appropriate distance from the animals. Their location cannot be guaranteed. They may be near the beach, beneath the trees or farther inside the island. We look for them, but we allow the deer to decide where the encounter happens. 14:45 hrs. Koh Kai Hua Roh Tiny, Unusual & Easy to Remember Continue to Koh Kai Hua Roh, one of the smallest and most unusual stops of the day. Its cluster of rocks and few trees create the distinctive appearance that reminds Thai visitors of the tiny deserted island seen in the famous Kai Hua Roh comic. This is deliberately a short stop. Depending on the tide and sea conditions, the Captain approaches to a safe and suitable distance for viewing and photographs before we continue. Not every island needs an hour. Koh Kai Hua Roh usually needs only a few minutes to make its impression. 15:15 hrs. Let the Sea Decide the Final Stop By now, we have completed the main parts of today's route, so we do not automatically add another island. If everyone still wants to swim and the Captain finds suitable clear water or a comfortable bay, we can make one final short stop. If the group has had enough time in the water, we simply begin the journey back to Koh Kood. This is one of the advantages of travelling by Private Speedboat. The day can finish when the timing feels right, rather than after every possible box has been checked. 15:45 hrs. Return to Koh Kood Turn back toward Koh Kood. There is nothing else scheduled during the return journey. Have some water, rest and enjoy the sea as the islands gradually fall behind us. Within one day, the scenery has moved from coral and tropical fish to white sand, a living island community, deer and one of the smallest islands in the Trat sea. 16:30–17:00 hrs. Back at Hideout Koh Kood Return to Hideout Koh Kood and settle back into your Pool Villa. Shower, swim or simply rest after spending most of the day at sea. We do not schedule another attraction this afternoon. After a full marine journey, returning to a comfortable resort at a sensible hour is exactly where the day should finish. 17:30 hrs. Final Sunset of the Journey Spend your final sunset by the sea at Hideout. This morning you left Koh Kood on one Private Speedboat. Since then, you have snorkeled around Koh Rang, walked the sand of Koh Kham, had lunch on Koh Mak, looked for deer on Koh Kradat and stopped beside tiny Koh Kai Hua Roh. Now you are back on the same Koh Kood coastline where the day began. 18:30 hrs. onwards | Final Night at Hideout Dinner and the rest of your final evening are at leisure. Tomorrow, there is no new island to find. We keep the last morning for Hideout Koh Kood and your own time before returning to Trat. Day 3 is what gives the Marine Collection its name. Not because five islands have been added to a checklist, but because each one shows you something different: coral, beach, island life, wildlife and a tiny island unlike any other on the route. Day 4 Hideout Koh Kood • Morning by the Sea • Final Lunch • Return to Trat After two very different days on the eastern sea, from snorkeling around Koh Rang to exploring the islands around Koh Mak, Koh Kradat and Koh Kham, there is no need to add another destination this morning. Instead, we keep the final hours for Koh Kood and Hideout Koh Kood, the place you have returned to throughout the past three nights. Today is the easiest day of the journey. There is no Private Boat and no early departure from the resort. Swim, walk by the sea, enjoy your Pool Villa or simply spend a quiet morning at Hideout before the journey gradually takes you back to the mainland. 07:30 hrs. Final Breakfast at Hideout Koh Kood Enjoy your final breakfast at the resort. After two days involving boats and island exploration, there is no reason to begin this morning any earlier. We leave enough time for you to enjoy the resort, its gardens, swimming pool and the coastline around Khlong Hin. This may be the best morning of the trip to have no particular plan at all. 08:30 hrs. One More Morning by the Sea The morning is yours. If the weather and sea conditions are suitable, take another swim or walk along the beach. You may prefer to find a quiet place by the water, relax beside the pool or simply stay in your Pool Villa. We do not drive to another beach just to add one more name to the itinerary. Over the past three days, you have already seen Koh Kood and its surrounding sea from several very different perspectives. This morning is simply time to enjoy where you already are. 10:00 hrs. Private Time at the Resort Return to your villa, shower, pack and enjoy the final hour at Hideout Koh Kood. Meanwhile, your Heritage Guide confirms the ferry schedule, vehicle connections and luggage arrangements for the journey back to Trat. These details are handled in advance so you can use the final part of your stay without worrying about the next ferry or transfer. 11:00 hrs. Check-out from Hideout Koh Kood Check out after 3 nights at Hideout Koh Kood. For the Marine Collection, Hideout was selected as more than somewhere to sleep between boat journeys. It gave us a comfortable base to return to after each day at sea, with the Pool Villa, beach and resort facilities available whenever the scheduled part of the day was finished. Now it is time to leave the resort and begin the journey home. 11:30 hrs. Final Lunch on Koh Kood Enjoy one final lunch before leaving the island. We allow enough time for a comfortable meal, just as we did on the first day. A departure day does not need to become a rushed day. After lunch, your Heritage Guide takes care of the luggage and accompanies you toward the pier. 12:30 hrs. Transfer to the Pier Your Private Vehicle & Selected Local Driver takes you from the Khlong Hin area toward the departure pier. The road may look a little different from the one you saw on arrival. This time, you are leaving Koh Kood after several days spent on its beaches, in the water and among the surrounding islands. Afternoon | Farewell Koh Kood Board the High-Speed Ferry for the journey back to Laem Sok Pier. Your Heritage Guide travels with you and continues to assist throughout the crossing. The exact departure will be arranged according to the actual ferry schedule and your onward flight from Trat Airport. Ferry schedules may change according to season, weather, sea conditions and operator arrangements. On arrival at Laem Sok, your Private Transfer will be waiting for the final road journey to Trat Airport.
