Koh Talu lies off the coast of Bang Saphan Noi in southern Prachuap Khiri Khan. This small, hilly island is covered in natural greenery and takes its name from a large opening through the rocky cliffs at its tip. Shaped by wind and waves, the opening is visible from the sea and forms the island’s most distinctive landmark.
Shallow coral reefs around the island shelter hard corals, sea anemones, giant clams, and colourful reef fish, including butterflyfish, parrotfish, and damselfish. Each reef has its own character, influenced by depth, currents, and exposure to the wind. Water clarity and marine life sightings vary with the season and daily sea conditions, bringing a different experience to each visit.
